Fall Favorites

As I was curating this list, a subtle theme started to emerge. Think vintage, think french, think sophisticated, mysterious vibes. And? Not a pumpkin-spice candle in sight.

1 // I’ve been a fan of Catbird’s jewelry for quite some time now, and I appreciate that all of the beauty and home products they carry are cruelty-free. Give their Tarot Deck scented candle a try for a layered and complex scent that will evoke all the fall feels.

2 // Light your new candle in style: I have been eyeing this vintage, french match strike for a while now, and while it has since sold, some other great options can be found here and here.  What is cozier than lighting some candles as the evenings get longer and longer? The ritual of striking a match, lighting a candle, and then blowing out the match can be so meditative and calming.

3 // Another item on my fall wish-list? This deck of vintage, french tarot cards. A splurge for sure, but these are like individual works of art. I imagine they are just steeped in history and contain a magical kind of energy...I would love to do a reading with these.

4 // This throw made my list last year, but it deserves a spot again, it is THAT good. All the texture and visual interest of mohair, minus the animal products. It is beyond soft, comes in some great color options, and happens to be on a pretty good sale right now. This looks inviting and chic folded across the foot of the bed, or draped effortlessly over the arm of the sofa.

5 // This footed bowl is so versatile, and so pretty. Use it to store/display a smudge stick for your fall-time rituals, fill it with pine cones or other seasonal decor, or use it on top of the coffee table as a stylish alternative to store tv remotes (it is the perfect size!). It comes brand shiny new, but will develop a lovely patina over time.

I hope you enjoy my recommendations - I had so much fun curating these finds! Adding seasonal decor to your space need not be taken so literally. Any, or all, of these items would be a subtle and sophisticated way of introducing some fall vibes into your home.
